Dr. eng. Dan Milici is an Associate Professor in the Electrical Department at “Stefan cel Mare University in “Suceava, Romania. He holds an Master and a Ph.D. in Metrology from the “Gh. Asachi” Technical University of Iasi, Romania.
He is also member of Cygnus Scientific Society – UNESCO Center from Suceava and coordinator of Research Department, a non-profit non-governmental organization with no political affiliation, dedicated to promoting the paradigm of Complexity in Romania, near the Center for Complexity Studies from Bucharest. Coordinator of project for summer academy of learning Atlantykron.
Most of his research and teaching activities have been dedicated to instrumentation development, numerical computing and applied informatics, electrical and nonelectrical measurement, virtual instrumentation, microsystems in metrology, e-learning in engineering, automated systems for measurement in industry and society.
Member of The General Association of Engineers in Romania, The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE) and al World Society of Instrumentation and Measurement Associations, The Association of Inventors in Romania and The Romanian Association of Automatics and Induastrial Informatics.
